Patricia Duff

In1998, while educating her daughter in France, Patricia conceived the idea of combining the photographing of events with the speedy creation of web pages as an almost instant record for participants who could down-load their photos at no charge. After covering events in both England and France, she continued her business after she returning to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2002. In an effort to give back to the community, Patricia offers her services at greatly reduced rates, if not at no charge, to non-profit groups and has been solely responsible for raising almost $15,000 for the Fools’ Regatta Charities over the past 3 years. www.our-event.org

Don Kerr

Don was born at an early age in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, which is the geographical centre of Canada but, in his words, "way the hell too far north".

He grew up in Winnipeg, then some more in Thunder Bay (Ontario), then went back to Winnipeg to study architecture, graduating with a B.Arch. degree from the University of Manitoba in 1965 on condition he leave the province.

Don did his apprenticeship in Ontario with a minimal amount of grumbling, was accepted to the architectural equivalent of the Bar in 1970, opened his own practice in 1971, and has never looked back (most doors were closed to him after he passed through them anyway).

Don and, his then-new wife, Christi settled in Oakville, Ontario (upwind of Toronto) in 1980, where he practised architecture valiantly and with no malice aforethought (no lawsuits) until 2000, when he and she dusted off their carpetbags and moved to the Turks & Caicos Islands, where Don insists on practising until he gets it right.

Don is also the author of a book on the general area of reincarnation, which is available from Unicorn or on-line. It's called "How It All Works & How We Fit In".

Always interested in photography, Don made a virtual leap into the digital world a few years ago. Many of his photographs have been published.

Don set up a web-site, so you can view his progress through the world of architecture. www.donkerr.com
